Chief Amb. Lady Chioma Oti-Osammor is a visionary leader, accomplished social worker, and the driving force behind the Ability Matters Conference. As the Founder and CEO of Pleo Reachout Organisation CIC, she has devoted her life to advocating for the rights of individuals with disabilities while supporting ethnic minority communities across the United Kingdom.

With over 18 years of experience in healthcare and social work, she is widely recognized for her ability to combine clinical expertise with genuine compassion. Her work is rooted in a strong commitment to removing systemic barriers that limit access to equitable care, ensuring that every individual, regardless of background or ability, is treated with dignity and respect.

Her impact extends far beyond her role as a conference convener. She has represented the caregiving community at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, where she amplified the voices of persons with disabilities on a global platform. Within her local community, she serves as the Vice President of the Nigerian Community in Milton Keynes and leads as the Head of the United Umuadaigbo Ambassadors Club Global, where she is dedicated to empowering women and raising awareness about domestic abuse.

Her outstanding contributions have earned her recognition through prestigious awards such as the Milton Keynes Black Excellence Award 2024 and the MK African Diaspora Award. She is also an entrepreneur, leading initiatives such as Chommzy Care Services and Chommzy Services Ltd, which support healthcare recruitment and promote inclusive community engagement.

At the 2026 Ability Matters Conference, she continues to advance her mission of bridging the gap between awareness and action. She strongly believes that caregiving is a global responsibility that requires the shared commitment of professionals, policymakers, and families.
